March 24th is the International Day for the Rights to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims. Someone who is remembered for this important day is Archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero from El Salvador. He was assassinated for believing in everyone having human rights. Although this day has passed, it does not mean we should not pay attention to this subject. Let's us realize that we are all people and deserve to be treated as such.
As I sat in the big conference room, I thought to myself, "WOW! There is going to be a lot of people here". As it got closer to 10 and then 10:30, I quickly realized that that was not the case. The now empty room was quite spacious. As the discussion started, I realized how people still not realize how important the environment is to our living especially forests. We must learn and teach other about the importance of the forest.
